SPRING AWAKENING: Just Watch Me!!

JUST WATCH ME!!

I had my VERY first LIVE Musical Experience accompanied by my new friend BECKY!!  

She has an amazing taste in music if I do say so myself 

(I've found ANOTHER music soul-mate...along with LUCY!) 

and an ever MORE amazing voice!

We had gone to see "Nine"... that "musical"... that was out in theaters after Christmas...and we were mucho disappointed...so to make up for that horrendous display of singing in a dramatic setting we went big

...like TONY AWARD WINNING BIG!

 

I LOVED the music from the show already...but after seeing it live, I can't stop playing it!

I've been bitten by the bug...and I will HAVE TO GO AGAIN!

The show was awesomespice.  We went opening night in Charlotte and I had chill-bumps the ENTIRE show...despite getting the stink-eye from the usher the whole time for taking pictures of the stage pre-show...poor Becky's flash gave her phone away...
I am trying desperately to get on-stage tickets for one of the shows in Atlanta (March 9-14th)..they have some great deals on tickets and I will be posting about them in soon!

My outfit for the night was a little too dressy for that crowd...and for a weeknight showing

...but I had an inspiration as usual.

Since it is the show that Lea Michele ("Rachel" on Glee) originated as Wendla.

I went for this-ish-ness

I couldn't find the exact colors...but I got the gist of the silhouette!  And the colors were more of the color palette of "Spring Awakening" costumes.
