I'm starting to hit that proverbial "brick wall" in this 30 for 30 challenge. I mean, I have outfits. I have things planned. But, I don't want to start repeating pieces just yet, I still have a few pieces I haven't worn. Tomorrow may have to be the day something is repeated. However, I do love this outfit. This blazer has a great story. It's from Goodwill and was found on a random thrifting trip with my Mom. I had been on a quest for a blazer and found this one. (I've told this story before on the blog) The sleeves were a good "3/4 length" (or so I thought) and it just fit me well. I took it to the register and low and behold, the reason the sleeves were so short were that it was a little boys blazer! And only $2.49!

Ooh. Love the blazer. Somehow thrift store blazers are so much cooler than new ones. Why is that? Anyway, you look great!

Since you mentioned it . . . my boys have a blazer like that. I hope you won't hunt Mencken for that comment. If you do, let's do coffee!
Seriously, you look cute! The hot pink skirt is fantastic. I'm repeating my whole outfit tomorrow. Check it out!

Stinkin' auto-correct. It's supposed to say "me down" not Mencken! Who's Mencken and why would you hunt him/her?
Great find with the blazer! Don't forget to link it up to the Everybody, Everywear blazer challenge tomorrow!

I am always a sucker for a navy blazer. Always makes an outfit look pulled together and chic.
